The standard engine in the 2018 GLE is a biturbo 3.0L V6 that produces 329 hp and 354 lb-ft of torque. If you need more power in Guleph, there is also a biturbo 5.5L V8 available that gets an impressive 577 hp and 561 lb-ft of torque. The 2017 X5 comes standard with a turbocharged 3.0L V6, but it offers just 300 hp and 300 lb-ft of torque. Stronger engines are available, but power ratings top out at 445 hp and 480 lb-ft of torque.
